Day one, and two ,Friday we left Whitecourt and got to the hotel Kim and I didn't sleep, Sharla and Renee had alittle and Bonni had the most, we got to the airport Saturday morning and I slept on the plane, Kim still didn't sleep, we arrived in Houston and our transportation took us to Galvaston, we stayed at the Hotel Galvez (very nice ) 300 a night and when we checked in they had been having plumbing problems so they wanted us to stay on air mattresses, Renee was staying with a stranger so that didn't fly until we found out that her roomamte had checked in already and her room was fine, Kim and I ended up in the Presidential suite, Bonni and Sharla had a queen bed and a pullout:) Kim finally slept after 40 hours....
Day three, we walked down the boardwalk to the store which we thought was like three blocks and ended up being ALOT more, we boarded the boat and found our rooms then went to check things out, we all got a drink and took it to the top deck, when we got up there it was windy enough to blow Renee's purse open and her sea card flew into the ocean, SO to guest services we went. We then went for supper and during supper while leaving the dock we saw dolphins, I heard a waitress say she had been on the ship 5 years and never before saw dolphins:) They weren't very lucky though because then while having a drink after supper heard BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO and the firefighters flew by the window we were sitting at, there was a fire!! We met a HILARIOUS lady who told us BRAVO was fire and ALPHA was medical, and also taught us about where to find cheap drinks in Cozumel and that two dollar make you hollar, later we found out she is loaded and a gold member.Oh we also had our scrapbook welcome night.
Day four, Monday, Kim and Sharla and I worked out in the morning, our whole boat schedule had changed, so we had a cruisin day, we had breakfast in bed and scrapbook classes , lunch and went to formal Dinner,We met two awesome ladies Cherly and Tamera and later helped Cheryl put together her class kits!
Day Five, Tuesday, Kim and I worked out then went to scrapbook classes, we hung around the pool for abit and had drinks, that night we were heading to to Crazy hat and tie party in our TEAM CANADA stuff and bonni mentioned having her srap-on ( she ment her name tag ) we laughed, I laughed until I was on the floor, ofcourse after not winning anything for our shirts and stuff we went for drinks:)
Day six, Wednesday, we arrived on our first port ROATAN, we started the day with buffet breakfast and saw this REALLY tall guy in the elevator, Kim asked him if he played basketball because if he didn't it would be a waste, We went on our Excursion with Sheila as our tour guild, we first stopped at an amazing view and then off the some tradition dance thing, then to the mangroves, Bonni by this point was sick and puking when we arrived, she still got on the boat for the tour, on the way back to the boat Bonni was sick again and said sorry to everyone after puke'in in the van, Sharla Renee Kim and I went to the Market while Bonni went to lay down Renee didn't last long before she was off back to the boat also, at Supper we found out that CHerly and Tamera were in a scooter accident and were really bruised up, we also found out that the boat beside us was being investigated because some guy threw his wife off and after circleing the keywest twice never found her, after having some drinks and getting some shrimp in my eye we were headed out of the elevator when this old man and his wife started to yell at us for being loud, everyone took off but Kim and I and Kim said we were no louder then the bar that was RIGHT there, we appoliged and I told them maybe they should go to bed earlielr te avoid noise, then he told Kim to eat his shorts so She gave him the bird and we walked away.
Day seven, Thursday, we were in Cozumel, we got off the boat and headed to our excursion, we thought we were going to some spa treatment but we ended but getting baking in a "nan" oven and while sweating BIGTIME he sent around water that he said was SAFE we then went for a swim in alittle water hole that was 147 feet deep, we did some shopping and got back on the boat, went to Johnny Rockets for lunch, ( very good) then more Drink and dinner and scrapbooking.
Day Eight, Friday, Progreso, Sharla was staying behind for our excursion today due to being sick ALL night ( Mexican water, who knows ) so we Renee, Bonni, Kim and I went to the Chitsa Nitsa Ruins ( very cool) When we got back on the boat Bonni's sea pass beaped and we soon found out that Sharla had been Quarantined for 48 hours and Bonni for 24:(:( Kim, Renee and I went to dinner and then checked on the girls and brought them drinks, we then had some drinks of our own and headed to bed.
Day nine- Saturday, we finally slept in, did some shoppin on the boat, packed and met Sharla, they let her out for two hours, paid our bills and did the page exchange and said good- byes:(
Day ten- Sunday we did the early check out and our transportation was all screwed up so we waited on a bus for an hour to leave then we got to our hotel and went shopping to a mall with Valet parking, we sat in the hot tub and got ready to leave the next day.
Day eleven- Monday, we had breaky wne to the airport, Kim, Sharla and I had our picture taken with an NBA plater Dell Davis, we went with our ten suitcases to check out and our flight was canceled, YES you read that correct:( They took us to a hotel and it wasn't the nicest, we also fould out that people were given money for the cancelation so Kim and Sharla went to find out what was happening with that and we got some more food tickets, which came in handy at supper, we were all really home sick so we scrapbooked that night to take our minds off it.
Day twelve- Tuesday, WE MADE IT HOME:):):)
